As the original online invitation platform, Evite had legacy status—but felt outdated. While newer competitors leaned into design and emotion, Evite was still seen as a utility. It needed to reconnect with what made it meaningful in the first place: helping people celebrate life together.
We repositioned Evite around human connection—not just events. By shifting the focus from features to feelings, we helped the brand embrace everything worth celebrating—from birthdays to breakups. We refreshed the identity, retired the balloon, and introduced a warmer tone rooted in the tagline “Life’s Better Together.” We also leaned into cultural relevance by owning the way people already used the name as a verb: “You’ve been Evited.” The rebrand helped restore emotional resonance—and reminded the world why Evite started it all.
